Easter Dresses
Easter is long since over, but I had to share this pic of the girls. Caroline looked so grown up in her suit. She likes to wear my glasses and pretend she is working in an office when she wears it. Brin's dress was a birthday present from Grandma Beverly.
Girly-girls
I think the baby is getting heavier faster than Brin is getting stronger. This doesn't stop Brin from carrying her around the house. Suprisingly there has been only one loud bonk followed by a blood-curtling scream. Gracie is by far the most popular person in our house, and I was even awakened this morning to Caroline and Brin fighting over her in their bed.
Gracie Baby
Gracie baby is a hoot to have around. She, being a Burke girl, is very social and loud. I think it really kills her that she can't crawl yet, although this doesn't keep her from moving around. She will roll and scooch from one end of the room to the other, yelling and growling all the while. Cute as a button, fiesty and active already.
4th of July
Provo is an awesome place to be on the fourth of July. Early in the morning at the fields next to the hospital they have a hot air balloon launching with about fifty hot air balloons. We love to go down and watch them be unrolled and blown up. You can get so close to the balloons that the heat from the flame is too hot to stand by and the blower is so loud it startles you. Then we watch them take off one by one- beautiful! My kids especially like the remax reality house balloon and the big pink pig. After the balloons are up in the air we walk over to University ave. and set up to watch the parade. This year we got our best spot ever, thanks to Jeff, in the shade with a perfect sightline. Jenny, Jeremy, Paige and Brock then joined us for a barbeque back at our house. That night we hung out with neighbors and set off fireworks in the street and watched the Stadium of Fire at BYU. Our house has the perfect view of the stadium from the lawn. It was just about a perfect day!
