Jackson

Without shyness or reservation Brinley announced mid-semester, "You know that boy I like in my class named Jackson? I like him." I wondered what exactly it was that attracts four year old girls to four year old boys. She answered that he looks cute and "he is nice to me and he smiles at me." I guess that just about covers it. When her teacher heard of the crush she decided to let them be partners in the Christmas play and share a speaking part. As she put it, "Heck! She may only be four, but I'm going to give her a thrill." She seems to be dominating the mic. a bit...

A few friends have called recently saying, "You need to update your blog!" I was shocked to discover that anyone was actually reading it! Maybe I had better edit what I compose from now on...

The real reason I have gone silent these four months is that there was a minor technical problem with my sight (I did NOT forget my password) and I have been waiting for Jeff to help me figure out how to get back into my blog.

That said, I will attempt to catch up on the goings on at Che Burke. Lots of fun. Lots of snow. Lots of soccer. Lots of soccer IN the snow. Good times...Here we are in our back yard sunday the week of Christmas. It has been an incredible Utah winter with more snow than I remember getting since the winter of 1992. I love the extra exercise I get from shoveling the drive and walks (really).
