Now that the Halloween decorations are out in stores I figure it's about time to wrap up summer. Sadly, I haven't recorded as many memories as I would have liked, but here are some highlights.
In Early July our neighbors joined us for our second "paint a giant flag on the driveway" party. I was secretly uptight about the kids "doing it right", but it turned out great and everyone had fun time. Except that it was 100 degrees, even at 7:00 pm. To cool off the kids turned on the sprinklers and got soaking wet, which is why you see parts of the fresh paint running down the sidewalk.

That flag is amazing. That is really the most creative tradition! I'm sure your girls will never forget it.
